Keep a car’s service history with its documents
An IDee car Passport brings vehicle details, dated maintenance events, recorded mileage and supporting documents into one record you can maintain over time.
For car owners who want to keep track of work already done and organise the information they may later need for a repair or handover.
Create a Passport for your carRecord what happened, when and with what evidence
Add a service, repair, tyre change or inspection as a dated history event. Include the mileage you have recorded, a clear description and a linked supporting document when available.
A service invoice and an owner’s note are different sources. Keep that distinction visible, especially when reconstructing older history with incomplete paperwork.
- Vehicle identity and relevant specifications
- History events with dates, descriptions and optional mileage
- Invoices, inspection records and service receipts in Proof Vault
Keep upcoming care separate from completed work
The care area can store current mileage, last and next service information, inspection dates and other relevant dates. A planned date describes something still to do; it should not be recorded as completed maintenance.
When sharing a selected Passport view, review the visible history and fields. Keep identifying information and personal details in documents out of public descriptions.
From the first step
How to get started
Create the vehicle record
Choose the car category and enter the correct model and known details.
Add the latest service
Record the actual date, work performed and mileage. Attach and link the invoice where available.
Continue the record
Add future work after it happens and keep care dates current. Before a handover, review the selected history and documents separately.
What to keep in mind
IDee does not automatically retrieve a complete manufacturer, garage or government vehicle history. The record reflects information added to it.
An entered mileage figure is not an independent odometer verification, and a document-backed entry is not automatically a verified garage record.
Saved care dates do not guarantee automatic alerts. Premium remains upcoming; a Passport does not certify roadworthiness or guarantee resale value.
Common questions
Can I add older service records?
Yes. Enter the actual event date and retain the document source. If a date, mileage or detail is unknown, do not invent it to fill the record.
Can a fleet use the same idea?
IDee also has business workflows for assets and fleet operations. The business fleet page explains that workflow separately from this personal car record.
